To do any cruelty to an innocent animal in the name of any religion makes a mockery out of religion - look at the children and the ones taking pictures - this is an act of brutal savagery and nothing more.
There is absolutely no excuse to abuse, violently dismember and terrorise creatures for the excuse of religion or tradition. Cultures vary, and no one culture is worse than the rest - to believe so is both ignorant and xenophobic. However these types of killings need to stop, no matter the people, no matter the animals sacrificed and tortured.
