i am technically heterosexual in that i am attracted to people at the opposite end of the gender spectrum to me

however im also super gay i mean i love pink and rainbows and glitter and being a total dweeb and basically im really gay

being gay is too much fun to ignore a simple matter like the fact that i am not homosexual

Being queer is not some fun little hat you get to try on. It is a sexual identity that for many of us, is very strongly tied to who we are as a person. Queer people face discrimination, prejudice, and violence, and unlike you who’s “just gay for the glitter”, we cannot just change who we are (even if we wanted to), although many of us do have to try and hide to keep safe. 

Your comments are offensive because it erases the seriousness of our identities and the consequences of such identities in a heterosexist society.
